• Avoid sweating or heating the skin. No exercise, saunas, hot yoga, or activities that cause the skin to heat up.
  • Keep the area cool and completely dry.
  • No makeup, skincare products, or spray tan over the tattoo until fully healed.
  • Avoid heat and steam: no saunas, hot or steamy showers, cooking over hot stoves, opening hot ovens, or soaking in baths.
  • Do not pick, scratch, tug, or rub the flakes. They must fall off naturally to prevent uneven healing or pigment loss.
  • Try not to sleep directly on the tattoo. A silk pillowcase can help support even healing.
  • Expect temporary warmth in tone. It’s normal for the tattoo to appear warmer in color for the first few days; this will settle as healing progresses.

Healing Gel

Apply a small amount (rice grain) of gel directly after appointment which is day 1, and every day after until day 10.
